Request account deletion
You can request deletion of your AutoShine account and the personal data associated with it. Once deletion is complete, you will no longer be able to sign in with that account.
Delete in the app
- Open the AutoShine app and sign in.
- Go to Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
In-app deletion takes effect after you confirm. You will be signed out immediately.
Request by email
If you cannot use the app, email us to request deletion:
- To: support@autoshine.app
- Subject: Account Deletion Request
- Include the email address or phone number registered on your account so we can verify the request.
We process email deletion requests within 30 days and will confirm by email when complete.
Email deletion requestData that is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove or anonymize personal data associated with your account, including:
- Profile details (name, email, phone)
- Saved addresses
- Booking history tied to your account
- Device / push notification tokens
- Account authentication credentials
Data that may be retained
We may retain limited information when required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- Anonymized or aggregated records that no longer identify you
- Transaction identifiers and amounts needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution
- Records we are legally required to keep for a defined retention period
